Ronald Kabuye

Ronald Kabuye found himself living on the streets of the Katwe slum in Kampala aged 5. He was taken into a Children’s home in the city and at age 14 he joined the Charity “Brass for Africa” music programmes as a trombone player. Ronald quickly progressed to become one of the Charity’s first Music and Life-Skills teachers, inspiring and teaching others from similar backgrounds. Through Brass for Africa Ronald found support to complete a law degree and an International MBA in Arts innovation.

With the charity he has travelled extensively and has performed at The Royal Albert Hall in London and at Joshua Bell’s house in New York. He now serves at the Programmes and Administration Manager for Brass for Africa leading a team creating Brighter Futures Through Music for many disadvantaged youth in Uganda.
