We cordially invite you to the annual networking event “The Future of Wind Music” on Friday, June 12, at the Prince Claus Conservatory

The networking event will once again take place during the Groningen Brass Experience (June 8–14). This year, the event will have an extra festive touch.

Over the past year, we have (among other things) strengthened our partnership with the Prince Claus Conservatory. The Prince Claus Conservatory will celebrate its 60th anniversary on June 12 with the symposium “Music of the Future.” Our networking event is part of this special program.

We are offering you free access to the full symposium program. Sessions 2 and 3 of the symposium together make up our networking event

Program for the "Future Music" Symposium

1:00 – 1:30 p.m. Welcome and registration
1:30 – 2:15 p.m. Opening + keynote speaker
2:15 – 2:55 p.m. First round of workshops, lectures, and roundtable discussions
2:55 – 3:15 p.m. Break

3:15 PM – 4:40 PM:^2nd and^3rd rounds = networking session

• Update on Developments in Wind Music
• Inspiration from Norway by Karl Ole Midtbø of the Norwegian Music Federation
• Explanation and discussion of two project plans

4:45 – 5:00 PM: Closing plenary session
5:00 – 5:15 PM: Musical toast celebrating 60 years of PCC
5:15 – 7:00 PM: Reception
