On Saturday afternoon, June 13, Waagplein will be swinging! Starting at 1:00 p.m., you can enjoy performances by six renowned big bands from the North. All afternoon long, you can listen to the bands while dancing or relaxing with a drink on one of the outdoor patios.

3:00 p.m. DEBASIC Pop & Jazz Orchestra (Sneek)

5:00 p.m. Punk ‘n’ Jazz Orchestra (Groningen)

The performances are very diverse, featuring both instrumental and vocal pieces. Each big band receives feedback on their performance from Jens Böckamp, the professional saxophonist with the Big Band der Bundeswehr.
